This spiral dock proposal consists in the construction of a wooden pontoon in multipurpose larch, equipped with a coffee bar at the end point of the spiral.
A median line of strips divides it in the center and lets itself be crossed by some openings that offer ever-changing views, and walking inside is a unique sensory experience. Once the path has begun, the user is stimulated to follow it all the way to the center of the spiral, where he can choose to enter the coffee bar or climb up to admire the sea from above, possibly sipping a drink.

The spiral pier envelops the spectator, always giving him new perspectives and functions, such as sunbathing, fishing, diving or stopping at one point to admire ever-changing views.
This project is inspired by the Spiral Jetty, the best known work that the artist Robert Smithson, a leading exponent of Land Art created in 1970 on the Great Salt Lake.
