On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the 17th Great Diving Festival, No One Excluded was held in Albenga: a day of diving, inclusion and solidarity for a sea without barriers.
Clear skies and a calm sea provided the perfect backdrop for the inclusive event that enlivened the Albenga shoreline. The event, which was free and open to all, featured many people with disabilities, welcomed by impeccable organization and dozens of dedicated volunteers from the city’s world of associations.
Organized by HSA Italia, Handicapped Scuba Association, with the support of local entities and the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, the City of Albenga and NADD Global Diving Agency, the festival transformed the beach into a living laboratory of inclusion, where the water became a real space of freedom.
The day involved experienced and novice divers, youth and adults, with and without disabilities, all engaged in dives assisted by HSA instructors, professionals trained to safely accompany all types of needs. Thanks to careful organization, access platforms, special equipment and expert guidance, participants were able to experience the unique thrill of the underwater world.
Founded in 1981, HSA is now active in more than fifty countries and is one of the pioneers in the field of diving for people with disabilities, with a dedicated and internationally recognized educational system.
The celebration concluded with moments of sharing and the certificate presentation ceremony in the presence of all participants.
The Underwater Festival in Albenga confirms itself as an event that symbolizes what sport can represent: a bridge between people, an engine of inclusion, an opportunity to discover and rediscover each other underwater, beyond all barriers.
