Alguer Wine Week 2025

From July 2 to 6, 2025 in Alghero rivers of wine will flow. In fact,Alguer Wine Week, the Festival of the Wines of Sardinia, will return for its second edition, animating the city for five days with tastings, music, culture and performances.

A real event dedicated to the promotion of the island’s wine excellence, with a program that aims to be the perfect mix of taste, culture and entertainment.

Opening the event on Tuesday, July 2, will be Archeowine Masterclass: an exclusive masterclass to be held at the magical pre-Nuragic complex of Monte Baranta.

Then on July 3 it will be the turn of Nuraghe Palmavera, a tour with exclusive guided tours and tastings organized at spectacular archaeological sites.

On Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5, a selection of the best Sardinian wineries, belonging to the wine consortia of Sardinia, will be present with stands in the historic center of Alghero to give the public a chance to taste their best wines, offering an exceptional opportunity to discover and test the region’s many excellent wines.

To access the tasting stations, it will be sufficient to purchase the Wine Kit in the Cristoforo Colombo and Pigafetta Bastions.

The tastings will be accompanied by events, music and DJ sets. In short, a real long festival where Sardinian wines will be absolute protagonists.

For those who want to take home a few bottles, a special temporary wine shop will be open on Charles Albert Street.

And that’s not all. On Sunday, July 6, the grand finale will be entrusted to the Wine Bus, with which it will be possible to discover the territory of Alghero and visit its wineries thanks to two itineraries among the wineries of the Alghero hinterland, with tastings and narrations directly from the producers, to conclude the wine week by toasting among the vineyards.
