Throughout July, the Circuito sul Mare, Circuito a Quinto and Circuito Cinema al Ducale summer arenas offer a wealth of programming suitable for all audiences.
Circuit on the Sea – The waterfront cinema in Vernazzola
The Circuito sul Mare is the sea-view cinema set up in the Sturla Gardens, at via del Tritone in Vernazzola.
Here, every night at about 9:30 p.m. the show takes shape with silent cinema, an engaging and sustainable formula: viewers sit on beach chairs, wear wireless headphones and enjoy the film in an atmosphere of silence and concentration, without disturbing residents or creating noise pollution.
In front, the panorama is that of the Gulf of Genoa, from Portofino Mountain to Boccadasse, for a unique sensory experience that blends cinema, nature and relaxation.
Circuit in Quinto – A new regenerated space overlooking the sea
The Circuit at Quinto is part of the urban redevelopment project of the Quinto sewage treatment plant area, which has been reopened to the public completely renovated and transformed into a new livable, functional space open to all.
The area includes a year-round bistro, a sunbathing area with sunbeds and umbrellas, a sports area with a multipurpose field, gymnastics track and children’s games. Toward the sea, on the other hand, a multipurpose area has been created that hosts film screenings, performances, workshops and live music, becoming a true cultural space open to citizens and tourists.
Cinema Circuit at the Ducale – Magic in the heart of the city
The Cinema al Ducale Circuit is located in the Cortile Maggiore of Palazzo Ducale, one of the most fascinating arenas in the heart of the city’s historic center. Amid history, architecture and culture, it screens art-house films and recent hits in a unique setting, just a stone’s throw from Piazza De Ferrari.
Programming in the three arenas changes weekly and features a selection of timeless classics, award-winning films, and Italian and international films for all tastes and ages.
