On July 23, 2025, Forte dei Marmi will be the scene of a spectacular event destined to leave an indelible mark on the collective imagination. The sky above Vittoria Apuana beach, one of Versilia’s most fascinating settings, will be transformed into an open-air stage thanks to an unprecedented aerial choreography. Between 10:30 p.m. and midnight, as many as 550 drones will soar into the air to create an explosion of moving lights and shapes capable of engaging the viewer in an immersive experience that combines technology, art and wonder. <\/p>\n\n
Making the show even more extraordinary will be the use for the first time in Italy of so-called pyrodrones<\/em>: innovative drones capable of launching fireworks. These devices combine the spectacularity of traditional pyrotechnic displays with the precision and dynamism of modern digital technologies. The result will be a fluid and engaging visual narrative that will take shape among the stars and be visible up to a distance of 12 kilometers. <\/p>\n\n An experience designed to ideally embrace the entire territory, from the coastline to the inland hills.<\/p>\n\n The event was conceived and organized by the Alpemare bathhouse under the patronage of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi and is intended to be both a gesture of gratitude to the city and its inhabitants and a cultural and tourist proposal open to all who will be in the area. It will be a true collective celebration then, designed to involve residents and visitors in a wonderful community experience. <\/p>\n\n The choreographies that will come to life in the sky will not be simple plays of light, but authentic artistic compositions built with attention to symbolism and storytelling. Swarms of drones will move in perfect synchrony to create images that recall elements of nature, cultural icons, abstract suggestions and messages of unity. Each movement will be the result of a complex design by teams of engineers, creatives and flight technicians who have been working for months to plan the event. <\/p>\n\n In addition to visual and artistic impact, the project pays great attention to safety and environmental sustainability. In fact, the use of drones significantly reduces noise pollution compared to traditional fireworks and eliminates the dispersion of pyrotechnic debris into the marine and coastal environment. The entire show will be operated with advanced control systems and in full compliance with current regulations, ensuring a safe experience for the public and respectful of the ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n The initiative is part of a broader vision that the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi is pursuing to enhance local identity through innovative languages and contemporary art forms. The area, which has always been synonymous with elegance and hospitality, is also proposed as a laboratory for cultural experimentation, capable of combining tradition and innovation, natural beauty and technological creativity. <\/p>\n\n The rendezvous is set on the beach in Vittoria Apuana, in front of Via Padre Ignazio da Carrara.
